D.O.B. October 3, 2008
Brandon Eliezer arrived at the Casa Jackson on December 10, 2009 weighing 9 lb (4 kg). He is originally from Monjas Jalapa and a very large
family. His father works as a laborer on
a farm and doesn’t make enough money to cover the family’s basic needs. Because of the draught that Guatemala had,
the harvest was low. The family didn’t
have any food and was giving Brandon only water. He was born two months premature and had been
hospitalized twice for infections. The
second hospital gave the mother some milk for him, but it’s unknown what she
did with it. This case has been
considered as negligence by the mother and she is believed to have a mental
disorder.
