D.O.B. August 27, 2009 Greisy Yamilet is a member of a family consisting of five, she has two sisters ages 9 and 2 years old. They are poor because they live in an area where there is little work and her father works for a farmer. During her growth the mother could not provide breast milk and substituted powdered milk for it. But due to a lack of money, they were unable to buy enough milk for the week. The mother was not feeding Greisy a sufficient amount and her weight dropped. When this happened she got an infection and was sent to the San Juan de Dios hospital, where she was given the necessary treatment for infection to recover. She arrived at the Casa Jackson on January 13, 2010, weighing 6.6 lb (2.9 kg) at her 5 months of age.
