Jesus was admitted to Casa Jackson on February 1, 2009 after being referred there
by Hospital San Juan de Dios.
Jesus Alberto is the son of Olga
Esperanza, a mother of three whose children live with
her alone and do not have a father. The mother neglected her children
and could not provide them with the care they needed.
Jesús was moved to the hospital due to malnutrition and signs of
abandonment. Later, he was referred to Casa Jackson to continue his
nutritional recovery. He entered Casa Jackson at a weight of 15.81 lbs
at the age of 16 months.
