D.O.B. October 10, 2009
Maria Juliana Patzan
was referred to the Casa Jackson by the Guatemalan Social Services and arrived
on October 25, 2009. They were told she was born on October 10, but she
was actually three months old and weighed 6 lb (2.7 kg). She had been abandoned
in the Antigua Hospital because she was the result of her mother being
raped. We are waiting for her mother’s recuperation and the solution that
an Adolecence Court Judge decrees.
